Tucked just few hundreds meters away from the beautiful and quiet Pongwe beach on the eastern coast of Unguja Island, (the biggest of the 2 islands that make up Zanzibar) there is a lovely, flourishing, calm garden, full of trees, plants, animals and a friendly atmosphere.

If you would like to spend a holiday on this amazing island, but you are not the “resort type of traveler” and you are a nature lover, this is the perfect spot for you.

We are offering short or long term accommodation in fully equipped self catering A frame houses, set in organic food gardens, which you are welcome to take seasonal crops from.

One of our passions, besides from growing our own fruits and vegetables, is helping abandoned and neglected animals, particularly cats. Therefore most of the time you will be accompanied by some of our cats, living their best life in the garden. They are all healthy, fully vaccinated, well cared for and friendly. All these cats have been rescued, and in a lot of cases hand reared from tiny kittens by Pete, the founder and builder of this little bit of paradise.
